I just called in 'sick' to work...

I didn't feel good yesterday at work and when I got home I slept for a few hours only to wake up feeling even worse.This morning I had a super bad headache along with a severe gastrointestinal problem.So I took two aspirins and called off from work.
Anyone else??

Sip some nice hot herbal tea or chicken broth and stay curled up in bed with a fuzzy blanket. Try to get as much rest as you can. Feel better soon!!

I think I'll give it a try!And it's sooo cold out right now (23 degrees!!) curling up with a nice warm fuzzy blanket sounds great too!

I called my son in sick to school, does that count. When I came downstairs he was fully dressed and lying on the kitchen floor. He said he had a headache and felt like he was going to throw up. I sent him back to bed.

I really wanted to. I think I am starting to get a cold, but I felt a lot better after a shower. We are supposed to get a bunch of snow tomorrow, so it will probably be a short day and I need to get some work done today.

Weird. I just got over being sick. I had a stomach virus and stayed home from school Tues.

My DD was sick on Sat.

The rest of the house got it Mon night. Ugh. Bouts of exreme sleepyness and weakness, headaches, body aches, bazooka barfing, followed by diarrhea. Also, couldn't sleep on Monday night when it was at it's worst. Thank you for staying home and not spreading this around. It's not pleasant!
