I just bought BLT...

170 BLT points purchased Sight unseen... We went on the tour of everything in May and just weren't ready, and didn't quite feel right about AKV...

We were waiting on pins and needles for BLT, and when it came out (I know lots of people hated the decor!) but we fell in love with it. It's just perfect and beautiful to us! Now that it's out and they're running the developer point deal, we purchased because we don't have to worry about price hikes or minimum hikes.

We were going to buy in May on our Disneymoon, now we're trying to see if we should either rent out our points or tack days onto the end of our disneymoon!!!

I just called our guide to set everything up, how soon after the paperwork is returned can we make developer point reservations?

As a new owner, what are the chances of being able to rent out any (DEVELOPER) points I don't use? Isn't providing references usually a must?

We go every year in either May or Dec. Anniversary trips in May to a studio with 166 points fora MK view... And then if we get a lake view for our Christmas week (somewhere from Dec 1-14) at 117 points , that will give us 53 extra points to bank to add to our 170 (223) so that we can get a 1-br some years!

Does that make sense?

No incentives for an add-on of less than 100 points. Otherwise, you get $5 off per point and matching developer points good at SSR, DLR and World Passport Collection.

We are so excited. I was picking a fight with my fiance while we were wedding band shopping today, and he said... I'm in the process of buying you diamonds and we just BOUGHT Disney today. Today should be the best day ever. No fights allowed.

He's not often right versus me , at least not in my eyes, but man did I have to concede to that argument.

Thank you. I was talking to some of the ladies at work with me (I'm an RN) and they were saying how they're struggling to get the funds to buy it now since they go to Disney so much... and how jealous they are that we are getting in Pre-Kiddos... I'm super excited!!!!

200 points? To Add on!!! That's awesome! How do you make enough trips/afford airfare enough to do that? Josh and I are figuring that with the coupla extra points we'll have each time that we'll eventually be able to get a 1-BR or if we ever skip a year, a big ol family 2BR trip.

This just came out. I refused to buy until there was some other incentive ( I knew they could do better than $5 off) so FH and I waited until we heard about the matching developer points and then we were sold...

We plan to rent them which will equal about $10 more off per point!
