Oh well..Scott won't be happy when he gets that reprimand for booking before the offer was made public!!

I don't want him to get in trouble. He was so nice! I just called and said I had the email code and he put it in and it worked. If it wasn't supposed to work, then that isn't his fault. He was very helpful and courteous. CRO should be glad they have him working for them.

Just called to change my package...

OLD package: 7 nights/8 days MYW PH with dining at Pop Century: $1667 for 2 adults

NEW package: 9 nights/10 days MYW PH with dining at Pop Century: $1296 for 2 adults
I'm confused. The offer says 5 nights, 6 days for $435 a person (so two would be $870). That would be $174 a night. Yet you got it for $144 a night? Did you get passes and dining for 10 days?
I assume we can turn in our passes towards AP's?

Okay..CM Abraham finally let me get a quote!

I asked for 9/26-10/1 and got this for room, 5 day non-hopper and dining plan--

WL (woods view)--2231.44
POR--1668.44

Now I just have to convince dh!

I am new to this whole code thing... but I already have a moderate booked that week and that is basically the same price I am paying... 5 nights/dining plan/6 day no hopper pass... I was also quoted the WL same specs for a price of $2200... are you sure you were quoted a discounted price??? They seem about the same as my prices and I am anxiously awaiting to apply a code! :confused3

what if you are staying august 12 thru the 19th
can i get it for the 13 thru the 19th or do i have to change dates?

I just booked!!!!!

Beach Club for the 5 of us, 8/22-9/1, 10 day MYW w/ hoppers, & & free food!

:mickeyjum

I just booked too!!! 9/14 to 9/19 at WL. Now, I am so excited!!!!! Can I wait 153 days until then? :rotfl2: Guess, I need to go over DL for a little Disney fix. I also made all my dining ressies. This is my first trip with the dining plan, and I want to be sure I can get into all the restaruants that I want! :cool1: :cheer2: pluto:

yea, maybe if he paid attention in his team meeting that the codes were loaded in the system but were confidential until today, he would be okay.

oh well....time will tell!

You can book any number of nights, any category room, with at least one day of park tickets to get the free dining.

For the 10 days, I got 9 nights at Pop, 10 days of Park Hopper Tickets, and the dining plan (all for 2 adults) for $1296. That basically equals free dining. The price difference equates that the tickets are not the same price each day (the more days you buy, the less it costs per day). Does that make sense? That's why my 10 day package is cheaper per night than the 6 day package price per night, even with hopper tickets.

Thanks. I understand. I just booked August 31 - Sept 7th. All the dining is booked, and now I'll just hope the hurricanes stay away. So far we are 3 for 3. One trip for the past three years has been cancelled because of a hurricane, so I booked this one a bit earlier than I would have liked to. I didn't get the insurance, so I hope like last year, they'll let me roll the cost over to another vacation, if we can't fly in.

Oops..I had the wrong dates in..those days were my May trip. All fixed!

I was wondering about the need for trip insurance. If God forbid a hurricane hits during our time frame I would rather re-schedule. So Disney let you re-schedule for another week without trip insurance ? That would mean I wouldn't need trip insurance.

This is what I just learned when I booked today: Trip insurance would cost me $119.90. If I cancel outside of 45 days it costs me nothing. If I cancel from 44 to 6 days, it costs me $100.00. If I cancel in under 6 days it costs me $200.00. So in reality with no trip insurance the worst case senario is that in an emergency if I need to cancel last minute it would cost only $80.00 more than the trip insurance and I only pay this IF I have to cancel. Sounds like a very little to risk. If I had to cancel that close to the trip I would think I would have bigger problems to worry about than $80.00.

Thanks I see your point. $80 doesn't see so much & if there's no storm I saved the $119 !

All three times. Actually four, since the year before last it took two tries to hit it without a hurricane. They said we just had to rebook. And if they don't, it's just not worth the cost of the insurance. Last year we missed one, and flew the day before another was expected..but we weren't staying at Disney the second cancelled trip.
