I just about died!

Put the laundry in the dryer and went to grab a dryer sheet. Well I THOUGHT I got a nice handful of mouse.

Turns out it was just a clump of lint that somehow made it's way into the box of dryer sheets. Oy Vey!

I would have freaked! Once, a little ball of dark lint had fallen on the laundry room floor. When I pushed the laundry room door shut, the wind kind of sucked it out of the room, under the door, and shot it out across the kitchen floor. TOTALLY looked like a mouse bolting across the floor.

What *is* it with dryer lint impersonating mice???

Just so long as it wasn't a cold, wet, slimy, dead mouse that a cat killed and left in the middle of the floor hoping to impress her human's visitors that you grabbed thinking it was a cat toy, only to discover. . .

You must have been very relieved to find that your mouse was just lint! One time at work, I opened a desk drawer to get something, but kept looking at my computer screen while I did it. Instead of the file I wanted, my hand touched something furry and out of the corner of my eye I saw something jump on to the floor. I turned just in time to see a mouse running out of my office. Now I look closely before I get anything out of my drawers.

That is too funny. We learned a trick when we bought our camper from the other seasonal campers where we camped. Mice supposely do not like dryer sheets. All of the seasonal campers take the dryer sheets and put them everywhere they can in the camper and the mice stay away. We have done this for six years. I don't know if it is actually true, but we have had no signs of the rodents anywhere

, I would have not pulled it out to see if it was or was not, I would have just stared clicking my heels and hope to high heaven that it was all in my imagination. The only mouse allowed in my home is a dead one, and his ears are on dresser

OP, here is my Facebook status update from this morning...

In case your dryer is not drying like it should be, check the vent inside the dryer and hopefully you won't find a family of expired mice like we did. :-/ Blech Hey, at least our venting system is vacuumed clean now...I should have started with the dryer instead of doing it last. LOL

At least I didn't have to touch mine...though I'm glad they didn't fit down the vacuum hose! DH, being the gentleman that he is, picked them up for me after I yelled and dropped the vacuum hose.

I thought mine were big balls of lint, too...I was about a millimeter away from touching it before my brain registered it was NOT lint!
