Frogs have plagued me all my life. I used to have nightmares about them all the time as a kid. I even have them once in awhile as an adult.

The other night I dreamt that I was watching these frogs on the ground, I had climbed a fence to get away from them. They were on my car, too. I looked in this dumpster and there was a dead one floating upside down in water in it!

The worst thing was the frogs themselves...they were huge, with really thick arms and legs, they also had very thick tails (!). Besides that, they were oozing this thick, yellowish slime.

Then, of course, tonight, I took a walk. I stayed on the sidewalk for most of the time, but I decided to walk around the lake near our house, its very pretty and relazing. But I knew the danger, and sure enough, I had not gotten even 1/100th around the lake when two frogs jumped from the sidewalk toward the bushes!!!

Back inside for me! :crazy2:

Ahhhhhhhh... I actually like frogs.

I think they're cute!

Heading back into my yard now.... :duck:

I hate them too! They are cute if they are just sitting still, but I hate them jumping or climbing. One jumped on my head when I was younger while we were standing outside our front door one night - maybe that's why I've never liked them since!!

Cute?

No. Maybe those bright green tree frog are cute, but no others are.

Babies are cute. Kittens are cute. Strappy sandals are cute. Frogs? No.

I can't even tolerate then still...I just know in two seconds they're going to jump, and right on me!

They don't really give you warts. That's just a myth.

I do agree though that they will pee on you without warning while you holding them in your hand admiring their cute little warts.... :p

My dad nicknamed me "frog" when I was a little kid.

If you haven't already, don't see the movie MAGNOLIA, with Tom Cruise. You won't like it!

I like frogs. :) (And their legs are kinda tasty. :teeth: )

I like "hoppy toads" even better. :bounce: I could never resist picking 'em up anytime I found one. :p Especially the big fat ones that hung out in my grandma's garden way back when.

I'd pee alittle too if a giant was holding me!

has never peed on anyone admiring my warts thank you. And dw will disagree... she will swear that this frog is cute even with half a face:) and for that matter i am not slimey either, and i dont jump on very many ppl..

Okay, Delswife, I guess those frogs will qualify as cute. They're little, green, smooth, and NOT slimy!

And, I guess you're cute too, Froggy. So long as you're not slimy either!

I'm with you Aurora! I am TERRIFIED of frogs! When I was a child, we lived near a creek that would overflow when it rained. One night I walked outside and there were frogs COVERING our patio. Of course, I didn't see them, and I stepped on one, taking off his leg (you can have the leg, Flaps! ! :teeth: )

Ever since then, I have just had this unnatural fear of them, and they seem to know who I am! I think that it went through the frog world that I hurt one of them, and they taunt me now!

I had one jump on my foot the other night when I took the puppy out to go potty! And, they sit on my front porch at night! :scared:

All frogs except for you Froggyinark! :)

Cynsaun, we must be kindred spirits! Wjen I was very young, I lived in Miami (frog capital of the world) and there was a canal behind our house. One of them somehow squeezed itself through our sliding glass door (that's all we could figure) and into the house! :scared: We woke to it sitting in the dogs water dish.

Terrified is almost not a strong enough word. There should be a support group for people like us!

:crazy2: Oh Aurora that's awful, I would have lost it if one had been in my house!!!

I think there should be a support group for us! We can start one ourselves! It could be called "The Horrible Hoppers Support Group" HAHA!

"Hi, my name is Cyndee, and I am terrified of frogs!" :teeth:

Oh dear, there was another one out there tonight.

I got home at around 9:30. As I was walking up the path to my apartment (which has bushes along it) this big frog saw me coming and hopped from one side of the sidewalk to the other.

As I ran by, I could hear him rustling in the bushes...taunting me, of course.

I guess this is what I get for moving to S FL, huh?
