I hope you don't mind another Oogie Boogie Bash question..

This year I'll be attending my first Oogie Boogie Bash. I'm crossing my fingers I'll get tickets for Halloween Day, but right now I'm trying to decide what the backup dates will be. I have a few in mind. DL has said in multiple articles it starts on August 22nd, but every article that shows the listed dates, it has August 17th and 19th down. Both of those dates would work for me, but then why is DL saying it starts on the 22nd?

Looking at DL’s website they list the first night as August 17th so I think that’s the answer.

This also lists the 17th as being the night of the first party.

However, they state

In continuing efforts to respond to guest demand, we see the party beginning before Halloween officially starts at Disneyland on August 22, 2025.

Which is maybe where the confusion lies. There is an official “Halloween Time” period at the parks that appears to not be starting officially until the 22nd, even if the Oogie Boogie party is starting on the 17th.

Disneyland also states that Halloween Time starts on August 22nd.
