DS wants some of those clothes compression bags for traveling. He said he saw them on TV - I did not see the commercial.

I did a web search and found one company - it was $20.00 for 2 bags, plus rather hefty shipping charges. Couldn't find anything else.

We've looked at Wal-Mart but couldn't find them.

Does anyone know anything about these and if they are available in stores and what the price range is?

Pam they are called space bags. there is a commercial that sells 5 bags for 19.95. you could also try Walgreens. Your best bet is go to the budget board and do a serach on Ziploc bags they work almost as good.

Pam--Ditto the ziplocks. I buy the 2 gallon size, and have DS (5YO) sit on them to squish the air out. I have seen the space bags at Wal Mart as well.

My DW bought some and, in my opinion, they are a big pain in the you-know-what. I kept having to wrestle with this odd sized flat bag full of blankets (that we ended up not needing). We have four rolling duffle bags that work much better for us. Easy to pack. Easy to carry. Easy to stack in the back of the minivan.

Stick with gallon ziplock bags. They are much easier to pack.
