I looked at the a to b sticky but that seems to be for wdw transport only

So I will be going to yacht club to take kids to a program. We were going to drive. From there what is the best way to get to fort wilderness? If I am correct you can't drive there is this right?

Am I better to leave the car somewhere? I have never been to the fort or had a car.

I would really like to drive to the yacht to avoid the double bus thing to get there for program.

How long should I allow to get from yacht to fort

You can drive your car to Fort Wilderness.

Where are you driving from.
It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to drive from YC to FW

You can drive to FW, but you will have to park at the Outpost parking lot and then take the internal bus to get to where you are going, such as HDD or Trail's End restaurant.

ok thanks that makes sense now. I knew I read something about a boat or a bus when you got there. Thanks again 10 minutes is perfect. We are going to rent a car this times so my planning is so different this time. I used to try to avoid going from one resort to another because it took so long and we would always end up taking a cab.
