Oh my! I'm sure that he made that scene because he was feeling a little jumpy (I would feel jumpy if I stole a car), but you'd think he'd have enough sense to know not to cause a scene. I guess we're all rather lucky that so many criminals are stupid.

It was probably someone he knows car. He probably took it for a joy ride not thinking they would call the authorities and report it stolen. He was probably worried about returning it with a ding.
