what is that exactly? I would love to have something "tinkerbell" to do with my nearly 3 yo at the time who adores her...

Sorry I can't remember the name of the store but, your DH can wake up Tinkerbell in one the Disney stores. Apparently, if you go into the store and the music is not playing then Tinkerbell needs someone to wake her up. All you have to do is ask a CM. Not quite sure what happens but it involves a magic wand and when Tinkerbell flies out she lights up the store and the music begins to play. The CM will also give your daughter a certificate.

Sorry not to good with the details, I have a boy. The only reason I know this much is due to a previous post regarding this topic on either the Tips or Families forum. Hope this helps! Maybe someone can tell you the name of the store. :goodvibes

Waking-up Tinkerbell (taken from intercot)
If you are among the first to enter Tinkerbell’s Treasures shop (to your left as you pass through Cinderella Castle), your kid(s) may be in for a special treat. Ask the Cast Member if you can wake-up Tinkerbell. The kid(s) are given a sword (for boys) or a wand (for girls) and are instructed to tap on a small chest three times and say “wake-up Tinkerbell”. Sure enough Tinkerbell wakes-up and flies around the room in a dazzling display of lights and sounds. The helpers are usually given a certificate that proclaims that they helped wake-up Tinkerbell. If you miss this morning ceremony, Tink typically flies around the shop intermittently through out the day.

If I am not mistaken it is behind to the left. :wizard:

We did this, or I should say we tried to do it, the last time we were there. My daughter had just come out of BBB dressed and done up as Tinkerbelle and a nice couple next to us told us the best way to get to wake-up TinkerBelle. He said you have to RUN to the store and YELL I want to wake up TinkerBelle. Well, my DH did, got yelled at for running, but managed to get in there and secure the ever elusive Wake-up Tinkerbelle.

It is behind the checkout register to the far left in the store. You tap the box, say something and then Tink is supposed to come out of the box and fly around and end up somewhere, but she must have been tired that day, because it didn't work. (Figures!! I figured it was a sign for my DH running and breaking the rules. But it sure was funny to watch a grown man run into a store and yell I want to wake-up Tinker Belle!!)

As we were shopping around, we finally saw Tink, flittering and lighting up her way around the store. My kids didn't even notice at that point.

It is a real cute thing to do if you can.unfortunately, alot of people also want to have their kids do it and at times I have seen it get pretty ugly.if you are interested,Just head to Tinkerbell's treasures when they open, and ask!

It will be very hard to do this, unless you are already in the park for an early ADR. We have an 8am BBB scheduled for this trip, so we are going to try immediately afterwards. But it still may not work.... :goodvibes
