*I meant to post this earlier, but I have been so busy this weekend that I haven't been on in like a week*
My birthday was last week (my sweet 16 LOL.) I was so stressed out that week, I was convinced that it was going to be a horrible birthday. So anyways, that morning I was standing at the bus stop and the bus pulled up. There was a blue piece of paper taped to the window. I was like what on earth is that? I got on the bus and my friend had decorated my bus seat with signs and a card. LOL. I thought it was the funniest thing.
Then when I got to school, I had to go down to the office. So I was coming out of the office and my one friend came running up to me screaming "NINA, NINA, There you are! I was looking for you!" (Nina is not my name, he just calls me that, and I call him Nano. don't ask why. I don't even know, it goes back to middle school.) LOL. He has this big blob and is like here, happy birthday! It was ribbon just wrapped around it, not even tied. He just took like a whole roll of ribbon and wrapped it around and around until he ran out. LOL. So I got all that off and there was tissure paper around it. Under the tissue paper was wrapping paper. After I get all that off, there were streamers taped at the top. I get the streamers off and realize that it was a garden gnome. Again, don't ask why, its a joke. LOL.
So then I get to my locker and I knew my friends were decorating it. (They aren't the most subtl of people. One of them went up to me and said "I need your locker combo because SOMEbody's birthday is coming up and some people are decorating SOMEbody's locker" Another one said "I need your locker combo, just in case I ever need it or anything
" LOL) So I got to my locker and everyone was there. I was like Oh Boy. Then I went to open it and they were all saying "Oh boy" and "I think we should have got her a helmet". And they were all like surrounding me. I turned around and said "What did you guys do?" (cause you can never trust them. LOL.) They were all like "nothing " LOL. So I opened and like a gazillion balloons came out at me. There were like mardi gras beads hanging everywhere in there. So I handed my one friend, R, a deflated balloon because it was in my way and I told her to hold it. So she started hitting me with it. I was like trying to smack her, but I couldn't reach, so I ended up just swatting the air. Then in the back of my locker, I saw a frog on a stick. I turned to one of my friend's, Dani, and said "why is there a frog on a stick in my locker?" She goes "Its a fly swatter", you know, all proud of herself. LOL. Then she tells me that it has to stay in my locker and on the next birthday, I have to pass it on and we are going to keep passing it on for everyone's birthdays (we always decorate lockers). I was like OK then.
And then another friend of mine decided she was going to tell me happy birthday every time she saw me. And she sees me between every period, during lunch, and we have a few classes together, so she told me happy birthday ALOT. LOL.
So anyways, I was so excited about my locker, I just had to tell yall! We also went to an Italian restaurant and then to the mall for my birthday. We tried on prom dresses at the mall and planned my friend's birthday party (her birthday is next and it is going to be a huge "MTV's My Super Sweet 16" type party, which she has about 2 weeks to plan. And she still hasn't even made the guest list of at least 50 or anything. LOL.
