I have taken the plunge!

The plan is to get a taxi from the airport to Universal, stay there for 2 nights and then get a taxi from Universal to WDW for the remaining 12 nights.

I would have liked to have stayed for longer but to add an extra few days bumped up the flight prices by £2000!

i was looking at same dates last night was it about 3500 ? then looked at leaving on 10th aug for 3 week and was 5700 !!

i cant book anything til we have moved and worked out a new florida budget:worried:

Yep - having that exact problem - can get around £817-835 pp if we go last two weeks, but really wanted to go for 3 weeks (or thereabouts - happy with 18 nights or so), this is pushing price up to around £1155 pp which is the cheapest I have found! :worried:

Really not sure what to do....

My original plan was to go for more than 2 weeks. My budget is dictating what I can do. I have budgeted 10k for everything. I am hoping for the following:

Flights: 4177
OKW with tickets and free DDP: £4500
2 nights at Universal: £350
Universal tickets: £550

Total: £9577

I hope this is realistic!

plus spending money !!

cant wait to see the disney prices

To be honest, I'm not a big spender lol. We gave the kids $100 each to spend last time and I think my credit card bill was around £350! We spent about £350 on tips. I would have to think about meals at Universal too this time.

Your budget looks good to me :)
Love Finnegan's at universal - don't think it's as pricy to eat there as at Disney but mind you we haven't been there in about 5 yrs so things may have changed :goodvibes

Lol, we bought a few souvenirs and the free DDP meant we only bought alcohol (cocktails :thumbsup2), the kids had their own cash.
