OK DBF and I are going in 16 days, we are very spontaneous people, so therefore I have decided not to do ADR's and just take our chances.... so I have asked on the CB about favorites so I am asking here what is your favorite CS and TS, also I am looking forward to "drinking and eating around the world" at Epcot, so where in Epcot do I absolutely have to go and what to try. This is the 2nd time DBF and I have gone, but our first just the 2 of us, so we are up for anything.... THANKS

We like Yakatori House (Japan CS) for a tasty lunch - they have Kirn beer which goes nicely with their food.

Also, Mexico has a big honkin' Margarita (I got the original - not strawberry or mango or anything), and you could put your name in for dinner, then sit at the Margarita bar and wait for your table.

Spend the day at Hollywood studios, then take the boat to the Boardwalk and have an early dinner at EPSN (very fun!). You can walk over to Epcot afterwards.

There's a few to get you started!

Japan :thumbsup2 Good food & fun if you have a fun chef
Italy
Coral Reef
San Angel ( never ate there but heard it's very romantaic!)

The CS in the Land is kinda more like a food court, great choices. In AK love Flame Tree BBQ.

Counter service we like at Lotus Blossom Cafe in China and Fish and Chips in United Kingdom (we don't make many dining reservations ourselves).

There are season beers at both the Promenade Refreshments (near the junction of Future World and World Showcase Promenade) and the Fife and Drum Refreshments (in America). Same menu on both - just different sides of the lagoon.

In China, there is the Joy of Tea stand which has a peach oolong tea schnapps slush and a green tea plum wine slush. I don't drink tea at all but the green team plum wine one was pretty darn good.

There is saki at the Kaki Gori stand (of course, you have to get a kaki gori at some point).

The funnel cake kiosk in America.

I agree that Lotus Blossom is a good deal and good food. I also heard that the Itallian Margaritas were fantastic. We will be trying one when we "drink/eat around the world" in Sept.

We love the pub in England! Fish and Chips and a pint!:cool1:

I agree with this 100%. . . it's our favorite counter service out of all the parks. The ginger salad is so great. . . the teriyaki is awesome. . . and the atomosphere is unlike any other. It's tucked away and often overlooked. You can sit inside or outside, and both options are quiet and peaceful. Love Yakatori! :lovestruc
