An excellent summary of some of the 'hot' threads out there. I was particularly amused at your description of the tween daughter's piecing future.
As to why I compared Mequite, Texas, to the state of New Jersey, the reason is simple: I have never been to either location.
Actually, I should have said 'Houston' since both have shorelines. Houston's is not on the Gulf of Mexico, but is on the ship channel. A nasty place, or so I was told by a friend whom worked as a longshoreman years ago.
Longshoremen do not wear shoulder pads. That is one of the main differences between longshoremen and the housewives of New Jersey.
Longshoremen do not pump their own gas, which is why they are sometimes confused with New Jersey housewives. They simply pull up next to a gas pump and order some young punk to fill up their vehicle.
Wouldn't that be "longshorewomen" in texas?
thats why they don't need to wear sholder pads, they build it up by lifting heavy weights.
