:thumbsup2 If i was using a stoller, $100 would be worth it.
I HATE traveling with stollers.

I finallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy got an email from AAA. Package was exact same price as the package I booked with disney.com. :confused3

But, I think I am going to stick with AAA since I already sent them a large amount of money. In fact, I am going from having 1/3 of the trip paid to almost 1/2 of the trip paid. Now that is a reason to celebrate. :cool1:

But I won't cancel my .com ressie till I get a paper copy of the AAA resie. I so don't trust them right now.

good idea not canceling till u see it on paper. But that is good they finally got back to you.

Okay, so it has been a week since my agent said she was taking care of my reservation changes. But I have yet to receive anything in the mail. How long should it take for me to get a written copy of my new ressies?

I am so never using AAA again.

I would call and ask. No answer by Friday then cancel it and keep the other. too much hassle.

You still haven't heard  Do what Scott said oh and cute photos of your little pirate :)

Yeah, I'd stick with AAA. I like the little perks that they give you.

So, I was reading on someone's TR (I wish I could remember who? :confused3 ) that they never carry bags into the parks. This way they can avoid the bag check line and get in through the gates a little faster.

This is genius to me. But I have been having trouble convincing the DW she could travel without a bag of emergency supplies.

Last night I had an epiphony...EXPANDABLES! These are bags (fanny pack, tote bag, backpack, or duffel bag) that fold into a little zipper pouch that you can clip to your belt or carry inside your pocket. I have been making them for years at work.

So here is our plan. DW and I will wear shorts with big pockets everyday (perhaps Cargo). We will stuff our emergrency supplies (sun block for my Irish skin, 1stAid kit, extra batteries, etc...) in our big pockets and clip a couple EXPANDABLES to our belts. Then once in the park, we can unzip the bags and move the supplies out of our pockets and into the bag.

It is genius I tell you. We will have bags in the park, but won't have to go through an annoying bag check each time we enter.

:woohoo:

Brillant!

We are driving to WDW from NJ. I would love to put together a mix-tape of Disney songs for the ride. But what songs would be best for a road trip? Any suggestions? I would love songs that the family could sing-a-long too.
:rolleyes1
I have 2 cd's called "Driving with Disney" and the Wishes soundtrack for our drive

In the above pictures he was 18 mnths old. When we go in Aug he will be 5 yrs. He is a monster of a boy. Near 50 lbs and over 42" tall. He is probably the biggest kid in his pre-k class.

His cousins who are a few months older than him are almost equal in height but at least 5 lbs lighter. My boy is all mass, heavy like a bag of bricks.

Here is a pic with my DW from this Halloween for a visual refernce.

That pic is wickid awesome... your DW makes a great Tink!!
:drive: is the only way to go for this cheap-skate.
My DH feels the same as you... and I am the Cheapskate hehe...

So I was discussing Disney with some friends yesterday and we had an unsettled debate over strollers.

Is it better to go through the headache of traveling and being responsible for a personal stroller all day or is it better just spend the kudos bucks to rent for the week?

We argued for quite some time and came to no happy conclusion.

I would love to hear the dis' opinion. :listen:
As I said in comment above... I am a cheapskate... buy an umbrella at wallymart and bring it with ya ;)

She really does

then I would have to carry it. strollers don't fit well in my EXPANDABLE backpack.

Speaking of that... i need to email my TA so I can get a confirmation email that shows Free dining
Isn't it scary not having that confirmation page.

That is a fantastic Idea!! Care if I do it too??
Sure thing. Free of charge too.
