I have resorted to begging. We love to collect souvenir menus from Disney restaurants. However, I never did get one from The Concourse Steakhouse. Since we will not be getting back to Disney before they close down, would one of my fellow Disers be willing to get a menu for me? Pretty please?

i was thinking about collecting souvenir menus but how do you do it? do you ask the server "hey can i keep this menu?"

Since dining is such a big part of our trips to Disney, I thought souvenir menus would be cool. The first place I asked was at Dinner at CRT. I simply asked our server if I could keep a menu as a souvenir of our Grand Gathering. Although it was not actually the mounted menu, he was more than happy to bring me a paper one to keep. Since then, I have always asked-the only place that has said "no" was Raglan Road. But of course they are not owned by Disney.

There is this guy on ebay that sells tons of them. I do not know how he does it and I did not even ask. I have bought a few very nice ones from him to add to my Disney dining room. I do not know if I can give you his user ID or if that is against the rules. I guess you can PM me. But I promise I am not hime or any relation to him and I do not make a dime on sending his name your way.

We're eating there in mid-December for dinner. I'll try to remember to grab you one though if you can, send me a PM around the first of December to remind me. (I'll put ia reminder on my ADR list now but sometimes things get moved around when I'm not looking.)

I assume I just ask for a copy of the menu? Would you only want dinner or should I beg for copies from other meals?

My mom does this kinda thing...she asked for one at the Cheesecake Factory of all places, I was mortified...I mean come on, we eat there all the time what the heck does she want with it???

Oh and when I was a kid she was the crazy lady with the ziploc bag lined purse at the Chinese buffet. And the only kid on the block that had a million sets of salt and pepper shakers from every restuarant in town

Concourse steakhouse is closing permanently this spring. They're putting some new restaurant in there in its place. I believe that's what the OP means by 'before they close'.

Thank you! Just the Dinner menu would be wonderful! All I do is ask the server or the hostess for a menu and it has never been questioned.

Thank you! The Concourse will be closing its doors this coming spring and our next trip will not be until at least next summer.
