I have found the pixie dust! Faith has been restored in DCL/Disney/DVC

Just came home from the 11/8 cruise. My faith has definately been put back into DCL/DVC/Disney! This was definately the cruise I had been sooo looking forward to. Everyone I met was absolutely fantastic. (especially the Barczak's) I have lots of pleasant memories from the cruise - cant wait to get my pics developed. We were on APLAP which put us in Lumiere's for my bday semi-formal night. DH surprised me with a DCL birthday basket.
The hardest moment for me was when I watched us pull away from Castaway Cay. I immediately went back to our room and told DH I needed to get back onboard ship. We went to the DVC booth, added on more points and are now looking into booking for DHs birthday next Aug.

I am sooo happy for you. I have been reading your story for a long time, and checking here for the last week or so to see what you thought.
Congratulations on a wonderful time, and on adding on those DVC points. Sure wish we could afford them.

He wore the pants - he wore the tux !!

Sat we attended dinner, Sun we were in Key West, Mon we were in Palos, Tues dinner we were in the dining room (no dinner tablemates this night), Wed dinner DS & I ate in the dining room, Thurs it was the 3 of us (no dinner tablemates), Fri it was DH & I (DS was exhausted)

Back in March I asked for APLAP and thats what we were given. Semi-formal night we were in Lumiere's. Mexicali night we were in Parrot Cay

After all your hard work planning, waiting, dreaming, I am so glad to hear your birthday trip was the Magical one you were hoping for! Also that your faith has been restored in Disney, I know the feeling all too well! Sounds like after all the B.S. hubby put you through, even he had a good time...LOL! Glad everyone enjoyed!

Let's just let her be instead of ripping her yet again. I wouldn't blame her for changing her name on the boards after what she went through. I know of another person who posted a lot who changed her name on the boards and no one questioned her about being legit etc. why should we question Barb if she chose to start fresh with a new name.

Let's just be happy for her that she had a great trip! It sounds like her family had a great time!

We will be going on our second DC in June of 2004 (first time on magic).

In august which ship, & places is your family going to? We chose the eastern we have already been to the islands on the western.

I know absolutely nothing about the original poster and their circumstances, but I agree with Jeanny.
I don't think that you should use someone else's name without identifying yourself as not being the "owner" of that name. That makes it kind of difficult for other people to know exactly who they are talking to, and I don't think that is fair to everyone else.
If this person wants to get her own new name and identity, I say great go for it and start over fresh, but to assume someone else's, I feel that is dishonest.
Just stating my opinion on the subject.
