I have enough Airmiles for 5 flights!!

So excited!

Considering I priced out WJ for our time frame in Feb and it was $3700 .

Even if we flew out of US (7 hr drive), once we factor in gas, hotel, 2 extra days unpaid work for dh, we are still way ahead using airmiles and paying the fees.

Now to wait (patiently ... Ha!) for Feb 2013 deals to come out.

I should be able to. I've looked up flights for 5 people for dates that are much earlier and they've come up.

I could book now, but not quite ready to. Need to see what's going on with a few things first.

We are doing the same for four flights and have enough. As it's for Ontario March break, I'm booking them as soon as the flights are available on the AM site!

Looks like you'd still have quite a drive to the airport! Where do you fly from? TB or Wpg? Is WPG more AM to fly?

I will be sad though once I see that big AM number go down and I have to start again. LOL

We are choosing to fly out of T Bay. Winnipeg offers a direct flight, but we would have a hotel stay at either end and we don't like leaving our vehicle there. My SIL lives in T Bay, so we will stay with them before and after our trip, leaving our vehicle at their house. We change planes in Toronto, but we're ok with that.

I'm bummed about seeing that number shrink drastically too! We put our daycare on our AM Master Card, so our miles add up quickly. It really bumped up since August as we are building a house. Pretty much every purchase has gone on two AM cards, so they are accumulating quickly!
