Monique,
I'm in Plymouth, so if there's anything I can do for you, get for you, just PM me, and I'll be happy to lend a hand. Errands, anything.
Thanks UrsulasShadow. Everyone has been so kind. You can PM me with your email address if you want, but for now I just need lots of prayers. ~Monique

Monique, your words brought me to tears. Hugs to you and to your family. I'm hoping you have lots of supportive family and friends to help you get through this difficult time so you can get on with living a long life. My very best wishes to you.

Hi Monique!!! I know how scared you are. Remember that your attitude and outlook have a great impact on your recovery. Every woman on my maternal side has had breast cancer..my mom, her mom, her aunt, her cousin...all at the same age. It's really spooky. But, and this is the big but, none of them have died because of bc!! I know it is in my future, I have been to the specialists and been told I am very high risk and what to do. It is scary to know that that awful thing is just sitting inside you. Keep your attitude good...its such a big thing. Come to the boards and vent, ask questions. The Breast Cancer thread is a terrific one. They know what you are going through. A lot of good info over there. And you are in a great state as far as medical research is concerned. All this being said, I'm sending along prayers and some hugs....yet one more prayer never hurts!!! :grouphug:
Hi goofy4tink, thank you for all the kind words. I am hoping for the very best for you. I'm sure I will see you over on the breast cancer thread. ~Monique

I am truely disheartened to hear this... breast cancer is horrible and not fair. I am so glad you have such a positive attitude on this and you will fight and you will get better because you have tons of Disney Trips left to discover!!!

My mom recently had a lump and cancer scare, but all turned out ok... but boy was it scary for awhile.

Also, thanks for posting this, it reminds us all to keep an eye on our breasts and do exams monthly... if you find it early enough you stand a much better chance.

I'll be thinking about you... keep positive!

I found out that I have Inflammatory Breast Cancer last Thursday. It is a level IIIb cancer.
I noticed a rash on my left breast in August. I had two courses of antibiotics, then two ultrasounds, blood tests, two mammograms, a breast MRI, a skin biopsy and a needle biopsy.
I am a 34 year old mom of 4 kids ages 13, 10, 5 and 3. My greatest fear is not being around when my kids need me.
Please pray for me and my family. If anyone has experience with this and can offer some encouragement, it would mean alot to me. Thanks, Monique

Monique, you are in my thoughts and prayers, as well as your family. I just don't know what to say to make you feel better other than I promise to pray for you.
Love, Lori

Just remember, God loves you. :grouphug: :grouphug: I am sending prayers and pixie dust.

My grandmother had breast cancer so I had my first mammo this year. I was blessed to have everything come out fine.

You're going to be just fine too. Please keep us posted.

Blessings to you,

Denise

Hi Marie, I have my moments. Talk to you soon, Monique

How are you, Monique? I've been thinking about you and continue to keep you in my prayers. Sometimes the speed at which things happen once you have been diagnosed is a blessing - less time to think. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Hi Disneylizzy, I had my first Herceptin treatment yesterday. I will start the rest of the chemo on Dec. 1st. Please pray for excellent results. Thanks, Monique
