I have breast cancer

I found out that I have Inflammatory Breast Cancer last Thursday. It is a level IIIb cancer.
I noticed a rash on my left breast in August. I had two courses of antibiotics, then two ultrasounds, blood tests, two mammograms, a breast MRI, a skin biopsy and a needle biopsy.
I am a 34 year old mom of 4 kids ages 13, 10, 5 and 3. My greatest fear is not being around when my kids need me.
Please pray for me and my family. If anyone has experience with this and can offer some encouragement, it would mean alot to me. Thanks, Monique

There is a wonder group of women who have formed a Breast Cancer support group. They can help answer some of your questions and your fears.

Hi Monique. First, my good wishes and prayers are with you, and all your family too. First, you take a real deep breath. Then you say, I'm going to beat this, I AM!!!!!

My wife, Marie (Lady M) here, is a breast cancer survivor of 7 years now, she had Stage III also. I would make sure, here, on the DIS, to stop by the Breast Cancer Survivors thread, here. There is a most wonderful group of ladies there, with a common bond. You will get much help and sharing of ideas, along with support.
