Just be very, very careful. If you got an email saying you were suspended, and it gave you a link to click on, and the link had you enter your ID and password -- you're in trouble. It's a scam and should be reported to eBay right away and by all means CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD NOW!
I had this happen to me.
eBay does not send out emails that require you to enter your password.
This happened to me too, if you received an email supposedly from ebay. Do not open it or put in your ID or password. Forward the email to spoof@ebay.com. Ebay will then respond to let you know if it is a scam or legit.
Did it pop up when you signed in, or was it in your messages? I read another post somewhere on these boards where scammers had figured out a way to make the pop up come up after you had visited one of their auctions (even though you were signing into the ebay site). Very scary...
