Well, folks, we did get some good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have no new growth PLUS the tumor itself is more translucent and less bulky. I didn't read the report myself so I don't know details about measurements. I was just so thrilled that there was no growth even after being off of my medications for a little while.

Keep the prayers coming....I know they are working!!!!

Checking in! Just wanted to check in after the busy holiday weeks. We made our trip to Florida as planned and had a great time!!!! DH and I decided to spend a bit more money for Annual Passes so that we could relax and not be so rushed that week. If I felt tired we could take our time or leave early and not feel like we were missing out. We tried to do as many of the special Christmas things as possible, saving some rides for future trips. A common statement to our children was "Space Mountain will be there next time but the Christmas dance party is ONLY tonight!! Plus you've already ridden it 3 times!!!"

We had so much fun at the Christmas party. It was pretty chilly so the hot chocolate was perfect. We danced with Goofy and Donald. The kids even got DH and I involved in some dance contests.

I got a little misty a few times thinking over the last year. I was so thankful to be in that beautiful place with my family with my body and mind intact (mostly....hehe).

My father in law sent me an email recently that was asking everyone to pray for a cure for cancer. One phrase stood out to me. "A person can be in remission from cancer but they will never be completely free of it. It will always be lurking there with a possibility of coming back." I am thankful to feel as well as I do and to be having the success I am having but we need a cure!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas celebration (or whatever holiday you may have celebrated) and welcomed in the New Year with a bright outlook. I know I did!!!!!

Amy, Happy New Year My Friend!! I am so glad that you had such a wonderful time with your family. I can just imagine you dancing with Donald and Goofy! Sounds like there was lots of magic and memories made on your trip!! Cold was the word for sure too, wasnt it??

That is great that you got annual passes. We got one for dh. I didnt want to get one for me, as you never know what is going to happen etc. It will be good for a room discount and we bought the TIW card for the food discounts. We ate alot!! (you can read my dining review)

I know what you mean about its always there. I think that too, but I just say Thank you Lord that you gave me today, wether it will be good or bad etc.
I think my dh is starting to understand that its always in the back of my mind.

We checked into the Yacht Club and my voice was so bad from the cold. The cm asked if I had a cold. I said no, I have cancer!! (She promptly gave dh and I buttons that said, celebrating LIFE!!). There was my cancer humor from the trip.

Here is a verse for you - Job 23:10-11. I know after all this testing you will come forth as gold too. Maybe people will start calling you Gods Golden Girl!!
