I have another JFK question

I am flying Jet Blue to go to DL later this summer and the flight leaves at 7 am, is the Boars Head Deli opened that early to get a sandwich to take on the plane with me? I looked on JFK's website but it only gives a list of what vendors are available, no other info available.

My DH works at JFK and will find out tomorrow. Hope that is OK. He knows it is open early, but not exact time. I will let you know tomorrow afternoon if no one else has an answer.

in feb we took jet blue 6 am flight out of JFK. i'm not sure of about the boars head deli but we were able to get sandwiches from the the vendors right before the gates.they had sandwiches already wrapped up and labeled, also once you pass security to the right and down the small ramp many vendors were open and a dunking donuts with corrsaints and many donuts available.i don't remember a boars head deli sorry but i was'nt really looking for it either.have a good trip hope this info helps out a little!!

Thanks for the info, that's great that sandwiches are available that early. I'm hypoglycemic and 6 hours with no food is not a good idea.

Hi Maureen,
Ok, here's the scoop. The BH Deli starts making sandwiches about 5AM. They have bagels etc earlier. My DH just called from JFK. He forgot to check yesterday. Hope this info helps.

I can't thank you enough for this thread. We've got that flight this Sat A.M. and I was wondering what I was going to do about food. No way will my group make it from 4 am till noon with no food. Starving....simply starving.... that war cry will start about 4:05 am LOL

Could someone tell me how many times they come around with coffee, water, soda on the NY to Calif trip? should I plan on bringing a couple of bottles of water and a good LARGE cup of coffee with me?
