I am afraid to post this on my facebook since I am afraid it will get back to my current employer but I have a dream job interview Thursday. I fly out tomarrow. This would require us to relocate but could really be a career changer and should allow my DH to be a stay at home dad. Something he would love to do. He is an amazing father and we have always said we don't care who is home if we ever get a chance to be a single income family we would jump at it. I am sad at the thought of moving and leaving family so I am not sure we will accept in the end but feel very fortunate that I even have the opportunity to interview!!! Awesome employer. (But not Disney)

Sounds great! but you have some hard decisions to make!! :confused3
Be sure to check schools in the new area AND housing costs!!! Don't assume housing costs will be down, some areas never had a crash!!

Best of luck! I'm sure you'll do great and make the best decision for your family.:lovestruc

Good luck! Sometimes it is tough to say no to those great opportunities. I landed my dream job (5 years and 3 resume submissions after the first try!) 18 months before becoming a mommy. I went back to work for 6 weeks and we made the decision for me to be at home. It has been amazing!

You guys will figure out what will be best for your family!

After 4 years with my current employer - I start a new job on Monday!

So I know your stress and anxiety about looking at new/better opportunities for career advancement.

I have had two job offers over the last two years but for each one there was something in the way, or something that was so drastically different about what I would be doing that in the end, a 'nice' job offer wasn't one that fit what I was ultimately looking for.

However, at the end of July I was contacted by a previous administrator from my current job and was informed of opportunities that were coming up within another organization, so I jumped at the chance!

The interview went extremely well, and the situation was indeed a solid fit this time - and with the raise I will be receiving, I'm not looking back.

So, it's exciting - and only you will know if the fit is right!

Good luck on your interview - and if it's what you want, I hope they offer you the position!
