for the new version of Pyramid with Donny Osmond. I go up to Seattle on the 28th and I have an appointment for an audition. I just wanted to go see Donny but when I called for info they asked if I wanted to try out for the game. I said SURE!!! I've been playing Taboo all weekend....any other suggestions on how to "get the part"? (I have no illusions of being picked to go to LA for a real taping.....but I plan on having fun trying at least!!!!) hmmm what would I do with $25,000......I know I'd be GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

Congrats!!! But, what's Pyramid??? Whatever it is, I hope you do great. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Good for you! :) Having been on three game shows in the past, my best advice is to be ENTHUSIASTIC but not in a fake or gushy way. Be confident and smile.

I hope you get chosen! :)

Its a game show that consists of giving and getting clues. Say the word that pops up on your partners screen is tree....your partner describes a tree trying to get you to say that word. You have a total of 7 words in 30 seconds with three rounds apiece (your playing against another pair) and whoever wins the most points in those rounds goes onto the big pyramid game portion where you have things like "things found in disneyworld" so your partner describes disney....florida....mickey mouse...trying to get you to say things found in disney world.!! Just hope I don't freeze up...I know I can play the game just dont' know what their "looking" for in the way of televised contestants.

That sounds like a fun gameshow. Is it a cable show or network? We don't have cable, so, if it is, I won't be able to check it out.

Have fun and good luck, just be relaxed and don't think to hard about winning, the rest will come naturally :bounce: :D

Monica, I was on Family Feud in 1981 (the Richard Dawson days), Jeopardy in 1984 (right when it started up with Alex Trebek) and Scrabble in 1985 (with Chuck Woolery).

Once you get on one show it's pretty easy to get on others (if you pass the tests!); they know you have a "game show" personality. ;)

Good luck! Let us know how you make out!

By the way, I met Donny Osmond a few years ago, and he is a really nice guy. (Not to mention easy on the eyes!)
