I have all this candy and no trick or treaters yet ***UPDATE - 3 came***

We've had 5 kids so far.

But mmmm... runts.... yum!!! :teeth: We have all the Nestle Chocolate bars (Kit Kat, Smarties, Aero, Coffee Crisp... ) so I'll swap you some! ;)

We have had only 9 kids in 1 1/2 hours. Luckily I bought my 4 bags of Snickers at a store that lets you return unopened bags with a receipt.

Vicky where are you at I will come knocking on your door for candy LOL

A few here, but not many.

That's fine with me .... more Reeses and Twix for me. :teeth:

Town allows trick or treating from 5pm - 7pm. We had 55 kids. Depending on day of week & the weather, in past yrs we've had as few as 30 and as many as 150. The temp was in the 30's -- so I think it kept the # down.

Still none. Now I remember why we don't go trick or treating in our neighborhood either. :(

We live in a nice big apartment complex and I see kids around here all the time. Not a single one has come to our door, though. I think Wagamama is right--they called off Halloween and didn't tell us.:( :( :( I was soooo looking forward to all the little cuties in their costumes. Butterfinger or Reese's Cup, anyone?

Yes I must say the census is down this year! But it is only 6:30, so I am hoping to get rid of this candy, Starburst, Snickers, Heath, Pixie Sticks! (SSSH, don't tell anyone but we already ate the Butterfingers & 3, yes 3, Jumbo bags of Reeses)

anyone want a kitkat? a hershey bar? some pretzels?

we've had no trick or treaters either. even my own kids won't come to this neighborhood -- we have very hilly streets and 90 foot long driveways.

my sisters did see a few kids on our street, but they must have come to our house in the short time that no one was home.

I am actually out of candy. Had to put a sign on the door telling them not to knock. We had a bag of milky ways and three musketeers.

Saw tons here - Kara came home with at least 1/2 bag of goodies -

Vicky - I will take some bubble gum:D

No trick or treaters here. It's 8:00! :( And we have a lot of candy too!

kit kats
reesee cups
baby ruths

Oh well.

We had 22 kids....*sigh* too many yuppies in this neighborhood. Not enough kids. I bought way too much candy :( Oh well...........

The kids at Marsha's house are demanding retribution for the "Kudos" year....

Well - it's 9 p.m. and we had one..

If some late straggler shows up I'm dumping the entire bowl in his or her bag...

Just because there's a nasty rumor that my grandmother's ghost haunts the street down here, I don't think that's any reason to stay away..

Isn't Halloween supposed to be about ghosts???? :(

Grand total of 1. I never get too many. No sidewalks and it kind of a dark neighborhood.

I do not buy candy for that one reason. I bought Mini Oreo's, and Twinkies. DH likes the Twinkies and Granddaughters love Mini Oreo's.

I bought a few of those coupon books from McDonald's, knowing that we probably wouldn't get many by the time I got home.

I was right - nobody showed up after I got home yesterday, so I sent the coupon books to school with DS.

Now I'm looking at their loot - gimme those KitKats!!! :teeth:

Vicky, do you still have Almond Joy and Nestle Crunch left?

We didn't buy any of those this year, but they usually go over big in our house.

Just how far is it to that "rock" area listed in your "Location?":p
