I have a Vero Beach question...

If we don't have to be at MCO until 6pm-ish but we check out of VB at 11am can we stay at the resort for a while?

I think the DVC rooms have the same "rules" as the regular Disney resorts, which means your priveleges at the resort (pool and beach in this case) are good thru midnight of the day you checkout. So that means you can relax a while before driving to the airport!

Yes, they will store your luggage and you can hang out by the pool or beach all day. There is a great shower and changing room near the pool for you to use before you "head home".

We have done this for our last 3 trips to Vero. We checked out and stored our luggage but kept a change of clothes with us. Then we changed and headed up to the airport for our sad trip home. The day feels different when you don't have a room, kind of like extra sweet. It works out fine. Have fun!
