Is WW a good diet to be on since i am a diebetic i don't really want to go one a low carb diet cause i love alot of card things and don't want to deprib myself of it! just asking i think i will go on that i have just been on a stric diet right now till i decide so far i lost a little over 10 pounds! I'm thinking you may want to talk to your doctor. A lot of carbs aren't good for diabetics, they can raise blood sugar levels.

Did your physician give you a diet to follow?

You will find that flour, sugar, corn, rice and pasta will run your sugar high as soon as you eat them.

Discuss this with your physician and she what he/she thinks you should do.

I agree ... this is definitely a time to be checking with your doctor. I'll bet he/she has a plan that they can share with you. And if you need to "tweak" it to suit your needs, they will be able to help you with that as well. Good luck, sweetie !

I agree, if you are a diabetic.....you should not be eating alot of carbs to begin with. I think alot depends on when you were diagnosed also. Before the whole carb thing came to light, doctors were only concerned about your sugar intake...that is not the case anymore. I had gestational diebetes with my last pregnancy and my nutritionist put me on a very strict low carb diet (i was in the hospital for 7 weeks so I had not choice but to follow it). I would check with your doctor before going on any diet. You might even want to specifically ask him how many carbs as a diabetic you should be eating.
