I have a question

One of my favorite threads has been locked. I'm really going to miss it. My question is this....If you know something is going to annoy/shock/offend you, why would you continue to read it? I stay away from any threads that are political, have to do with the war or Bush or religion for those reasons. I don't read them, get mad and then complain to the moderators.

If it was the thread I am thinking of......some guy was going into details about HOW to kill people you don't like. Very, very disturbing.

Yes, that's the thread. I started to read his post and just skipped over anything written by him. Definitely that was disturbing. But wouldn't it have been better to just remove his posts, than to close down the whole thread?
