Well today i was searching other vmk fourms on google. Everyone uses the same terms, like mules and BSOD and such. Who thought it up first? It has to be the vmk fan site or us right, becuse we were the first vmk fourms?

If that the case, i just like how they think they can steal our phrases...

I believe BSOD actually comes from Windows, probably back in the Windows 3.1 days. BSOD at that time was the BLUE Screen of Death you would get when windows crashed and you had to use the magic incantation (Ctrl, Alt, Delete or something like that to reboot the computer).

Mules seem to be understood by people who have never used VMK. So I don't think we get to claim that one either.

But I could be very wrong. :confused3

qruthie (the 'q' is silent)

These terms are all on wikipedia, and have been for a long time. Anyone who is a fan of VMK and does google searches that lead them to this forum and the others, will also read the wikipedia page. That's how I learned about mules and "the black hole."

I beleive that the fansites for VMK us and a few others were around a long time befor the wikipedia article ever appeared.

i know woot was from the old school games...

I also want to add in that did anyone notice that they have the same write thread, write post, and quote buttons as us?

Isn't there a copyright thing about that?
