I have a question about making ps's.

From reading these boards, it seems that we now have to give a credit card number to secure our ressie. Is this true with all restaurants or just a select few? What happens if I don't show up? What happens if a portion of my party shows up? We're planning to eat at places like 50's Prime Time, House of Blues, and Breakfastasaurus. My boys would NOT enjoy breakfast with the princesses!
