I have a question about a rare event...

I was helping out at a middle school wrestling tournement this weekend and when I came home and emptied out my spare change from my pockets, I found out that i was holding a different type of quarter. It turns out that i have a double-headed quarter. Does any one know how much it might be worth?

Hmm, I'm not sure it's worth anything, you can buy trick double-headed quarters for about $6. Someone may have used a trick quarter to pay for something and you ended up with it as change.

Wow, that's kind of cool that you wound up with a double headed quarter, Grant! I did a quick search and I saw that they retail for about $6-10 depending. Very cool!

We look at the quarter closley and saw the sandwiching and I am certin that it is a real quarter!

Are you sure it isn't a NEW HAMPSHIRE quarter?
The state quarter for NH has the profile of the Old Man of the Mtn. on it...thus making it the only two headed quarter in circulation....

I did a google search and found this info:

Thanks nativetxn, i did that test you test you said to do and it turns out that it is a trick quarter kind of disappointing but now i can rig coin tosses!
