What is everyone's favorite month to go to the World!

Explain why (i.e. not crowded, weather) and let us know when in that month you go (i.e. first, second, third week)

I voted for December but I need to "shorten" the month by saying that Dec 1-10th is best.
Temps in the 60's & 70's usually-
very small crowds
always good prices at Disney Resorts
Christmas decorations are up & WDW quite festive-

I voted for September. We usually go the first or second week of the month. There are NO crowds at all. We can practically walk on every ride. It is a little humid, but the lack of crowds more than make up for it. Never a problem getting a same day PS reservation either.

It's gotta be nice and warm (85 and above - what most people call "hot") for me to enjoy my vacation. I get enough "cold" weather around here all fall, winter and spring. So, for that reason (and the kids' school issue), it's gotta be June, July or August. If we go early June, there are still a lot of families across the country waiting for school to get out (our kids get out June 1st this year). Depending on the year, we hopefully beat SOME of the massive summer crowds this way, while still enjoying the nice weather.

We went around the 3rd and 4th week of January and had a wonderful time. Cool enough, but not so cold that you had to wear a huge coat or anything (at least not for someone from the midewest like me). No lines at all!!!

I voted for November. We've been early Nov but I think that the week before Thanksgiving week would be terrific....nice weather, not so many people. Now, my second choice would be the first week in Dec. Weather a little chillier, fewer people and those Christmas decorations and activities!!!

But I want to narrow it down to the first week in March, here's why.... First, and most important, 3/1 is MY BIRTHDAY, and what better place to spend it than at WDW!! Now all kidding aside, we were there from 2/27 - 3/6, and everything was wonderful.

Second... the weather... The weather started out a little cool (OK cold on 2/27 & 2/28), but it averaged high 70s low 80s for the remainder of the trip.

Third.. There were hardly any wait times, maybe 15 minutes at the most. We only had to use FP for Splash. Got a great spot for Wishes about 20 minutes before it started.

We would go again at that time in a heartbeat, however I had to pull the kids out of school for 6 days, and with ODS going into 6th grade next year, it just isn't going to happen.

My pick was October. My husband and I first went a few years ago for our honeymoon and then for our first anniversary. October is beautiful weather and the crowds were very low when we were there - we did priority seating day of and never really had a problem. A lot of restaurants, we just walked up and only waited a short time.

October!! The 3rd week is ideal! Good weather, low crowds, MNSSHP.:sunny:

I want to go back!!!! I miss the World!!!

April!! We go the 3rd or 4th week in April depending on our vacation schedule and it's great. By then most spring breaks are over; there are only a couple other states with similar schedules to ours. The crowds aren't bad and the weather is gorgeous. Going in Feb and having temps in the 40's was just WRONG. It was hard to feel like it was Florida when I called home and found out it was warmer here in NH then it was in Florida. So April is absolutely my favorite time to go. The park hours are longer, but not too late, and the weather usually can't be beat.

I see the fall is a winner so far. I have to agree--- I voted October. I think the crowds are just right as is the weather. Been all seasons but summer and by far late fall is the best.

my favorite time to go would be May....great weather(warm to hot, but not so humid, and little to no rain usually), low to moderate crowds and the grounds at wdw are really pretty that time of year....dw is school teacher now, so we're forced to go in June now...

I picked December. The parks aren't crowded the first couple of weeks and the decorations are so special. It was a wonderful trip for myself and my family.

I'm with you Parrothd! A Florida vacation with evenings that I might have to wear a jacket is no Florida vacation for me ! June is a very nice month -- the only August we ever went was really rainy!

I voted for Nov. I just love the weather, low crowds and Value season prices.

However, I may change my mind next year. We plan on going the week after Labor Day. I hear its a Ghost town! :D

I voted for December too! We especially like the first 2 weeks of the month. Usually we have pretty good weather, low crowds and we get to see the Christmas decorations. I can't wait till this December!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I vote May...I go in May every year and its hot and all the water parks are open and you wont freeze....and plus its during school there are no vacas in May and most parents wont take their children out of class so there are hardly any long lines.

I voted February - The firt two weeks. The crowds are low, it is not too hot or cold but you still get at least one or two days of hot weather to do the water parks.

Another vote for early December - specifically the 2nd week (Pop Warner is usually there the first week). Candlelight Processional is my absolute favorite.
