Just booked for 3 nights and 4 days at the Newport Bay Admirals Floor, Lake View in August. Spoke to a WONDERFUL CM who was as excited as I was that we were going back and let us pay only a 10% deposit!!!

Flights are booked, but we arrive a day early (very late) so REALLY need to get some advice on the best offsite or airport hotel to book for the one night, for as cheap as possible!

SO EXCITED!!!! :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Yeah, well done on finally booking :goodvibes:cool1: Happy planning :)

Thanks!

Plus with the 10% deposit - if a better deal comes up, it is a possibility of cancelling and upgrading! However, I am happy with where we are booked tbh. I know people hate the NBH, but I am prepared for the size of it, have booked Admirals Floor and a lake view, will ask when we phone to pay the balance if we can have a room closer to reception and am very much looking forward to the pools on a hot day! Also love the light, bright airy look to the hotel, especially as we are staying in summer!

Going to buy our shares next month - and am sure we will make a saving on food; drink and merchandise - and Salon Mickey will be a bonus!

I did ask for an AP rate first - and it was more than the package deal we got! So very happy!

And the planning begins!!!!

Congrats on your booking:goodvibes

Congratulations    we're staying at the Newport Bay for the first time too. I love the look of their outdoor pool although knowing our luck it will rain cats and dogs every day we're there!!

I'd look at one of the 4 offsite hotels for the first night - the Kyriad is usually the cheapest.

Thanks! I have had a quick look on expedia at those 4 hotels and they are all £130+ per night!

My friend showed me this link

Does anyone have any experience of this hotel?

Look at the Kyriad's own website - they sometimes have very good rates on there.

we booked a one night at the Kyriad hotel through alpharooms website price came up £71.00 for a quad room and has its own free shuttle to disney

It looks very close to the airport which could be good for late arrival if you didn't want to go nearer DLP or Val d'Europe

Here's the TA reviews

That's fab, so happy for you!! I felt like I really made friends with the CM when I booked, she loved my Scottish accent and kept making me say things lol. A little bit of magic at home, phoning them :goodvibes
