My wife has been teaching in the toughest school in JC for the last 16 years. You are from JC so you are tough enough to handle the kids. Every September the teachers in my wife’s school see the new teachers come in all bright and cheery. Did you every see the part in THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION where the old prisoners watch the new prisoners come off of the bus?

They take bets on which ones will break first. Well at my wife’s school the new teachers usually last for 4 weeks than they just leave and are never heard from again. They are the teachers who grew up in the burbs..I think they get overwhelmed with the good old JC kids behavior. (I think my wife said some of the new teachers actually went insane)

I am back. Lots of other teachers interviewing for 1 or 2 open spots. The interview went well, it was a nice school pre-K to 4. So I hope I hear back from them.
