We were being silly at work today, and someone started asking everyone what the " T " in T-Shirt meant. Does anyone know? We never did figure it out!

LOL. :D
I never really thought about that. My only guess would be the shape of a shirt is somewhat of a T shape. But then again, most shirts are shaped that way.

because it's made out of "t-shirt" material!!! :D

I always thought it was because of the shape, too.

I've read in many places that it's because it makes a T shape.

I lived in my t-shirts and jeans in the 50's and ealry 60's.

Thank you Dan!!! One question though, how on Earth do you always know where to find this kind of info!?!?

Yes, google is the best way to instantly find just about anything you need to know, as long as you know how to search. :)

And Roque dear, you're going to get yourself in trouble if you start calling people OLD on this board. ;) :p

Yep, google, #7 on my spinner clipart. :) It is an incredible search engine, by far the best I am aware of, today's standard of measure.

Roque, you and I will have to do WDW some day. :teeth:

And, Michelle, thanks for covering my, (and the few other 'old' folks) back. ;)

Roque, I NEVER used to trust anyone over 30..............., but I've now seen the light :jester: :jester: :jester: .......

Do we have a newbie calling us old?

You listen you young whipper snapper! If you're not careful, you might actually make friends with people here older than your parents! GASP!!!!!!;) :)

j/k. Gotta give the newbie a hard time!:smooth:

Roque, in many ways Dan is one of the youngest people here IMO. As a matter of fact, we're really all just kids at heart here!
