Hey a drive to Chicago from where I live isn't that bad either. Maybe a weekend road trip in January if I don't have the money for the plane

Oh and I must admit Bonnie, I haven't driven around Chicago yet... stay in the right places and people are nice and offer to drive you places

This trip - I managed to get around on trains, buses and trolleys - but no way was I driving down into downtown Chicago

And no way would I drive to Chicago in Feburary either

This Lake effect Girl isn't going no where near that lake until at LEAST FEB. I might make it to parents house in Feb. But Chicago is waiting until March.

Bonnie - I love to drive in the snow. I even have a set of snow tires for my Saturn that help me get around in the winter. Next time I drive to Chicago for a DISmeet, I promise to let you know. I would love to have some company for the drive across Indiana.

Why don't we charter a bus. We could arrange park and ride stops along the way and pick up Dis'ers all across Ohio and Indiana. Could you image the fun of a "lime green" bus pulling up in front of Dan's house with a load of rowdy Dis'ers?? ;-)
