smokeyblue said:So OP, what is it? Do you live in NYC or Ohio?
Can you say Troll? I don't understand what the gain is having people plan your fictitious trip.
Just curious, why do you think that?

I fully intended to give a thoughtful answer until I looked at the OP other posts. Just six weeks ago she lived in Ohio. Now all of a sudden she lives in NYC? I have a whopping $1200 to spend on a solo trip to wherever I want. I thought about Vegas but decided not to...it's pretty much a glorified atlantic city. I've taken my kids to disney world four times within the past two years. I have ONE weekend to go on this solo trip by myself. Im bored with disney world so I need something diffrent.
Im thinking about Disney Land!! I've never been to the west coast. Im not really into Hollywood and all that jazz...it just doesnt appeal to me much. I do get a lil excited thinking about disneyland though.
I have $1200 to go towards this trip...I've budgeted $400 for airfare although i see i can get a roundtrip flight for a little under $350. Ill need a one day park hopper. Im pretty sure i can see and do everything in disneyland on that Saturday....and ill be returning home to my kiddos on that Sunday.
How much do you think this is going to cost ?
I live in NYC and i dont have a license so i dont drive. Ill need a motel within walking distance with an airport shuttle if possible.
This trip will be March 1st -March 3rd. So two nights..The cheapest flight leaves at like 9:30 p.m. so Im not able to make the most out of Friday. Ill be checking into the hotel and going straight to bed which will be in the middle of the night...oh boy![]()

Having deja vu on OP. Can't think of a username, but prior poster. single mom, a few disabled kids, lives in NYC, mom is alternatively helpful and annoying depending on the week, always right on the financial edge but also always planning or taking a budget trip. uses tax credit to fund trips, etc.
You mean the one who said she left her kids at school and the police got involved and then a couple days later admitted it was a hoax?
I do see in NOV she said she lived in the buckeye state. What is up with that?
Dawn
now I have to go back and reread the OP post so I can hone my skills at spotting fishiness!

I guess I have to work on mine too. I didn't think anything odd about the post. When I was in my early 20's a few years ago, I'd take these types of trips. A weekend would be what I had time wise between school, work and other commitments.
Im going to prepay the $200 or so bucks in gratuity and not giving a dime extra ...that's plenty . Bag handlers , drivers etc....not getting a penny from me. Im not rich. Let someone else cover their "tip" . Why does EVERYONE expect a tip nowadays...okay maybe ill give the bag guy a buck or two but drivers arent waitresses..They arent earning 2.14 an hour ...no tip from me .
If I get a drink on the cruise ill tip a dollar ...maybe
Im not too worried about food on our resort days. I plan on ordering take out for dinner . With the gratuities prepaid and the resort prepaid. I plan on bringing just $500 for food/spending money. Were not big souvenir people . Ill buy the kids a couple of DCL tshirts..or maybe not.I can find them online for way cheaper.
