I think most insurance companies will cancel your policy if they find out you have a trampoline, and refuse to pay if it causes any damages. I'm guessing you will have to take them to court if they don't offer to pay. A friend of mine bought one, and I asked her what her insurance company said. She had no idea it might be a problem!


Insurance companies cannot cancel any claim indiscriminately. This is a third party claim, and there is no exclusion for that.
OP: sorry to hear about damage, just tell person that owns it, that you need her HO carrier info for your damages claim.
Its why you BUY insurance, to take the risk for YOU and place it on the carrier! Why you pay those "lofty" premiums!
Thankfully no people were hurt this time
