I remember a high wind storm that blew a trampoline over the owners fence onto a busy street in town! Thank goodness no one was hurt, but that could have been catastrophic!
We have a trampoline - and I have seen the worst of injuries in my line of work, including a 6 year old with an elbow dislocation/fracture from jumping up and grabbing the enclosure! In fact, I broke my ankle when I was 11 jumping with a friend.
I know it doesn't eliminate the possibility of injury, but it greatly reduces it to supervise kids using it, allow only one person at a time, and make sure kids are trained if they are doing tricks.
Also, living in an area prone to high winds, if there is a chance of storms or if we go out of town, then trampoline is turned over, making it less likely that an updraft will take it away.
Hope insurance or neighbors make this right!
