I hate to do this, P&PD please.

I had the same thing happen between my two children.

It was hard emotionally at the time but the physical aspect I don't remember as being that difficult, of course that was 19 years ago and one tends to forget those things.

Every year I think about the one that I lost about the time that she/he would have been born.

I also think about my daughter that I had after the one I lost and I realize that I wouldn't have HER if the original pregnancy had gone to term.

That in itself helps to make it easier to bear as the years go on.

You dont need stories right now, but I strongly encourage you to call and say you want general anestesia.

I'm real sorry.

I am so sorry. I have had the operation and there's really "nothing" to it besides the deep emotions. Try to have fun at WDW.

I've passed along the news to the cast at #729, Alison. You are in our hearts and prayers.

I'm so sorry. I'm praying for you and your family.

I lost my first baby at 15 weeks. Please don't try to make yourself act brave. If you want to grieve, grieve. It's okay. If people say insensitive things and act like they don't know what to do (actually, that's not an "if"--they're going to do that), don't let it bother you. It's not your job to make them comfortable with your sadness.

You'll probably feel perfectly normal physically on your trip. If you want to, I'd suggest buying something to help you remember this baby, either with the birth stone of the month your baby was due or a pearl, because pearls represent tears.

I'm truly sorry. :guilty: But I had a D&E done and left for WDW exactly a week later. Had the procedure on a Friday and left the next Friday. It is totally doable. Just rest the few days before you go. :grouphug:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I sent you a pm.
I'm sorry for the loss that you are going through. I had the same situation as you. :wizard:

 I'm so sorry. I have been in your position and I really feel for you. The surgery is very easy...nothing to it. The emotional aspect is far worse. you probably will be okay to take your trip on Saturday. Just don't over-do it for the first few days.

Me too. I was there and totally agree with this. Disney might be a nice distraction for you and your DS will love it. Just take it easy.
Sorry for your loss :grouphug:

I am so so sorry.
FWIW I had a D&C(10 weeks pregnant) and I was put under, and it was fine. I woke up with cramps, but other than that felt okay.
I had it done in the morning and was out shopping that afternoon(couldn't stand sitting at home thinking about it).
Physically it wasn't a big deal for me.
