I hate to ask another Postcard question

So, wow, I came home from a tough day of classes and what was waiting for me? A POSTCARD! Just what I needed!

Now this is my question before I waste the time calling.

The postcard came to Traci Lynn. Like Lynn was my last name. But that's not my last name but part of my first name. Do you think they will still honor the postcard? It is still my name.

Hmm. I would think it would be worth giving them a call for that one. I know that the cards are non-transferrable, but it seems to me like that's more of a typo than anything else. I'd probably request to speak with a manager, explain the situation, and see what happens.

Do you have any ID that shows that Traci Lynn is your first name? We just used a postcard for our Feb trip. The postcard came under my first name and old last name. I recently married and changed my name legally to old last name and new DH's last name. When I made the reservation I told the CM about this, and she said as long as I had documentation to show the name on the postcard I was fine. The kicker was the postcard came to my current home that was bought AFTER DH & I were married.

We had no problem using the postcard!

I would definately call, because it seems pretty obvious that with having a "double first name" the computer just presumed your last name was Lynn.

I think it is pretty clear that the postcard was meant for you, and its not like you are trying to use a postcard that was meant for someone else.

Sounds like this could be cleared up easily....good luck!!!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am going to call because $59 a night is too good to pass up.

And on my license it says Traci-lyn and all my other IDs, so I'm good with that.
