Every one I talk to one the phone, they are SO rude. I cancelled Florida Tours because of the rude operators they have.

I booked with Tiffany, and am on hold right now for a change I had to make. This woman is incredibly rude to me on the phone as well.

What's wrong with these people?

boomhauer - I have to say that I think most of the custom service industry has gone to the pots lately! I am very hard pressed to find any business good at treating the customer (their bread and butter) with respect.

I find that alot of places the employeed do not care and therefore the customer is treated like crap.

I for one try to not give repeat business if I have had a bad experience. Now sometimes it is not the businesses fault and in those situations I can give a second chance.

But if someone is having a bad day at work or hates their job - it is not my fault! Just do your job and get over it! We all have bad days but sometimes you just have to suck it up and be nice to the customer!

Good luck getting a car service - we had really good luck last time we were in Florida with Southern Elegance.

Try Lorden Transportation, they are very VERY customer service oriented--Jimmy from Golden Limo who has gotten rave's on these boards now drives with them.

I read Tiffany was very good, so I'll see how the driver and service is, but I was so turned off by the customer service on the phone, I already have a bad feeling about them.

I agree about customer service on a whole. It's very poor lately. I was just at Boston Market for lunch, and there's this woman there serving people who had the nastiest demeanor.

I've given up. I'll accept the rudeness and simply get on with my Disney vacation. At least they (for the most part) know how to treat their guests.

You would think that since ME is taking away alot of their business that they would be bending over backwards to be nice to the customers that are calling.

I completly agree with this statement!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Now if each and every time it happens you can figure out a way of letting them know ome of their employees was rude...

Ranging from asking to sepak to a supervisor during the same phone call to writing a letter 15 minutes after you hang up.

Give Murray Transportation a try-
they could not have been netter- Last time I believe it was 80 - $90 round trip with a grocery stop and a stop under the sign for a picture amd a seat for my DDwho was 1.
We used them last Oct 2004- highly recommended.

That's what made me cancel with them last trip. I called to add another leg to our trip and the phone person was very rude, as if by my giving them more business I was inconveniencing them.

I'm surprised to hear FL Tours staff was rude though. We booked with them and had great service both on the phone and in person. I'd mention it to a supervisor or the owner, Andy. I'm sure he'd like to know about it, especially being a sponsor on this board.

Rude service when seeking professional chauffeured transportation:

When seeking a quality Limousine or Towncar service in Orlando, it is my opinion.. do your own research on on the internet. There are several well established companies that will treat you professionally when taking your reservation, and use top quality, professional, chauffeurs. Also, there are others that will hire any warm body with a pulse, for the office and drivers (not professional chauffeurs).

First - Great pic from Hoop Dee Doo! Can't wait to go back there!!

I actually did that with FL Tours. They sent me an email asking me why I cancelled. I told them, the staff on the phone was rude. They never replied with an apology or anything. I was a bit surprised about that.

I noticed this when I called around to get some pricing. But my impression was that they were hurried, rather than rude. I chalked it up to tight staffing; i.e., the person I talked to also handled lots of other stuff and spent as little time on the phone as possible.

I still haven't made my reservations yet for our December trip, and I'm planning on maybe using Happy Limo and Sunray for different portions of the trip.
