Yes and no. Its better in the sense that you're working for an actual degree, and studying the things that interest you.(especially now, not so much my freshman year). Its worse in the sense that its alot harder, and way more intense than high school was (is).

Everyone there pretty much WANTS to learn, while in hs you have to deal with idiots disrupting class and being forced to be there.

Its different for everyone.

College work is A LOT harder than HS work and there are A LOT more expectations of you from your professors.

agreed. i took us history 101 at a community college level, then i took english 101 at a state level. its comparing kindergarten to highschool.

I basically was going for the enviroment though. High school is tough considering getting up at 5:00 every morning, being forced to stay in a single building for 7 hours straight, dealing with all the crap people throw at you while your in the building, and dealing with all the crap things that come along with school[such as graduation focus groups, and idiotic guidance counslers who treat you like you are 5]
I mean I know College won't be an easy ride, but at least i can decide which classes I would be interested in taking[since most of the classes you HAVE to take I have taken in high school] and being able to have a more flexable schedule.

You have major senioritis going on!! I can totally empathized with you. It sucks. But, it isn't too much longer. You're so close to the end. Hang in there.
