I'm working qsr and it's awful. I hate every aspect about it. I feel trapped when I realize I have 3 months left here. I try to stay positive about it but I can't. I love everything else about the program and I came down here expecting to work a lot but not expecting to hate my job. What do I do

not sure what qsr is, but if you only have 3 months left you stick it out and make the best of it. It's a resume builder. All I can say is focus on the positive and make the best of a bad situation. It's a character builder.

As the pp stated, it's a character builder. My first full time job with the Company was housekeeping at the All-Star during Latin Season. Trust me when I tell you, there is nothing worse than that. After six months, I made a move to management. After some further career positioning, I've been able to move to the Corporate side of things.

You're in what you call "dues paying years,". Expect to do a lot of jobs that you will generally find unpleasant before you can begin positioning yourself for bigger and better things. It's what will help make you a better person in the long run. In addition, it's also what those in fresh out of college have to do to prove they can be vital in the workforce.

Think about it, you're working for arguably the most well known company in the world. If you want to pursue a career in hospitality, that goes a VERY long way. How can you be a good manager or understand how a business works without first seeing what it's like first-hand in the front-lines....

Disney on my resume gave me a ton of opportunities I wouldn't of had otherwise. Stick it out. I'm still friends w/ most of my Vista Way friends to this day. It is worth it. ;)

What was so awful about the job? And where are you working?

My DD just got accepted for QSFB for Spring Advantage.

There is a group at the apartments. Service Center or something like that. You can go talk to them and get advice on your options.

Just try you best and stick with it. Don't self term and risk not being able to be rehired. It's three more months. I believe you can handle these next three months. Honestly, I do.
