Can I get that in writing with a signature?

Luv'sTink said:My Mom bought DS some. I have no problem with them. He hardly even wears them now, he has had them for about 2 months.
I have never had someone even come close to running into me with them on or seen anyone knock something over in a store. I actually have not seen that many people wearing them anywhere.
BTW, if you felt the need to stick your foot out in front of my son, I would feel the need to stick my fist in your face! *IF* he ran into you (which he wouldn't) then there would be something to talk about.

And I'm sure that'll set at least one person off on here who is pro-Heely, so I'll just go to my corner & don the flamesuit now. Anyone willing to hose me off if necessary?![]()

brerrabbit said:Personally I have no problem with heelys but thats because I am 6'1" tall and weigh about 270, and most of the kids that wear them are pretty small. I have been run into at least a dozen times in Home Depot, Wal Mart and other stores. The only problem I have is dealing with the parents who run up to their child after he has bounced off me and landed on his butt. They immdiatley think I did something to cause the fall. Well I guess I did, I stood there while the kid came shooting around the corner on those things and watched him bounce off me to the floor. The best one was when I was standing at the end of an aisle in a Wal Mart Super store grocery shopping. I was looking at a display and the kid came flying around the corner hit me bounced off and straight into the display of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Boxes went everywhere and every one in the store turn to see what was happening. The kids mother ran up to him and said are you okay ,what happened? The kid said I pushed him down and with that the mother went into high gear. Yelling and screaming about how rude I was and I would be responsible for his injuries etc. About then an Assistant Manager walked up and said to the lady, no mame your son ran into this man and if he uses the skates in the store again you and your son will be asked to leave. That shut her up pretty fast.
So I say let your kids have heelys and let them use them anywhere they want, just be ready for the big guy waiting around the corner, physics dictate he's going to win every time.
