I hadn't planned on bringing carseats, but....

if we go to SeaWorld, I'll need them, won't I?

We're staying on property and don't even plan to rent a car. My kids are 6, 4 1/2, and 22 mos. The 6 y/o uses a booster (he's barely 40 lbs), and the other 2 use carseats. Although the 4 y/o can use a booster too.

Will the airline allow me to bring the boosters onboard (they're the backless boosters)? I'll have to check the monster carseat b/c we didn't buy the baby a seat.

That's a lot of extra baggage for our one day trip to SW, but I guess if it has to be done, I will :)

How are you getting to SeaWorld?

And what would you do with the car seats while you are there if you aren't renting a car?

I don't think boosters can be used on the plane, but hoepfully someone else will know.

DD also uses a "backless booster". You may take it aboard the plane like any carryon luggage, however, it can not be used in the airline seat. It will have to be stored in the overhead bin. You might be able to tape your larger car seat and the booster together, and then place them in a large plastic bag as checked luggage.
