You're a better person than I am, Becki. There are only one or two non-family members I'd even *consider* giving up a WDW trip for! Shoot -- there are only a few *family* members I'd do that for! LOL! Your friend is very lucky.

I think what you did for your friend was wonderful! I would like to think that I could do the same thing in your place. I would hope I would anyway! Don't worry about it just remember "What comes around goes around" and your friend will never forget you either.

I would hope your friend knows the money is actually a gift from your parents and thanks them also.

I've "cancelled" a few WDW trips also....mostly before any definite room ressies were made. I think this happens often with folks when things in real life make a trip not a wise move.
