ohhh the one place I wanted to go...I have been on my pc all day just checking..so I decided to call and see if there were any cancellations...The man I was speaking to(I wish I wrote down his name)..couldn't find anything. So while he was looking up other places ..I popped on and saw a 7:40 for Crt..I was so excited.

I told him and he couldn't find it..because it was in my cart...so we worked together and on "go!" I released the hold and he found it and grabbed it for me..so it could be tied to my dining plan ..I was a little confused because if I book it online..they charge you and then I would have to get it refunded when I got there??? So I just wanted it tied in...So he had it and before he could confirm it....His system went down and booted him out...He went back in and we lost the ressie....


Oh did that stink.... The poor man I was speaking too felt terrible! He was so nice the whole time I was on the phone with him..and then I was so excited when I got the res..and then to lose it..Oh I think he was more upset than me..he felt terrible!!!! I felt terrible that he felt terrible!! So off I go to try again...hopefully my kids understand why I have been ignoring them all day

Sorry to hear that. That sucks, but keep trying!

But I'm surprised you just didn't book it online. I booked it online and was able to tie it to my dining plan and didn't get charged. Good luck!

I as online..that is how i held it...I wonder if it because I went through a travel agent to book my trip..so when I call, they can look up my reservation and tie it in..I can't check my reservations on the site because i went through a third party. I did end up getting it though

you could still use your reservation number to tie your adrs to your ressie even if you use a TA... as long as your TA gave you your reservation number...

Oh, I feel for you. If you ever find it online again just book it and get your confirmation #. Then cancel whatever you might be holding for the same meal time. You can do the cancel either online or by phone. As I looked for adjustments to my ADRs I found 1 place where I was able to move a late dinner ressie to just a slightly earlier time. I called dining while I had the ressie in my cart. When I asked the CM what my best plan would be she advised me to book it and then cancel the later one. She stayed on the line the minute or two it took for me to complete the new booking and then canceled my original ADR.

I do have my res number..but I didn't see online how I could tie it to the restaurant?

When you are on the dining reservation page and you click on the restaurant that you want it will open the page where you put in the date and time you are looking for. Right above the place for the date and time there is a box with info on how to tie your ADR to your ressie. You need to do that before you start checking for date and time.
