Michelle, I had no idea that you mother had passed away and I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I know after all she had gone through she is in a better place, but I know for those of us left behind it is the hardest. {{{HUGS}}}

Dan is such a wonderful person and it doesn't surprise me that the came to your mother's wake. I too had almost a similar experience at my father's funeral, our very own DISer Otto's Doll was there and I was able to meet her. It wasn't my best moment and I didn't know she was there until the very end so we could only visit for a few minutes, but it was very nice to see her there. Our DIS family is almost like our extended families and there are some wonderful people here.

Again, I am so sorry for you loss.

I wanted to send condolences for the loss of your mom. I knew from other threads she was seriously ill, but did not know she had passed. My prayers are with you and your family.

I had a strange feeling early last evening, I didn't see Dan on the boards that much last eve. I was thinking last eve, wouldn't it be nice if Dan went to your mom's wake? I think God must have told me this, because I didn't even know Dan was there until I read your post just now! I just noticed early last eve that Dan was not online. I thought, how cool if Dan showed up at the wake!
And I also noticed in the "Chicago Disers-check in here" thread, you gave him your approximate area where you live,that was posted a week or two ago.
So, it didn't surprise me, either, that Dan showed up! How cool is that!!!!

That's so neat to get emotional support like that at a difficult time for you.

Just a hint - when you are feeling blue think of the good times you had with your mother. This always helps me when I feel sad because both of my parents are deceased.
